Pino Donaggio - Her Private Hell (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) - 2LP

Legendary Italian composer Pino Donaggio returns with Her Private Hell (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), written for acclaimed director Nicolas Winding Refn's first new film in a decade. Conceived as a contemporary opera, the soundtrack serves as the emotional backbone of the film, pairing Donaggio's original score with five additional tracks by Julian Winding.

Starring Sophie Thatcher, Charles Melton, Havana Rose Liu, and Kristine Froseth, Her Private Hell unfolds within a futuristic metropolis engulfed by a mysterious mist, where a young woman's search for her missing father collides with an American GI's desperate quest to save his daughter.

A kaleidoscopic blend of horror and melodrama, Her Private Hell called for a score capable of connecting the film’s shifting tones and narratives. Drawing on the suspense and psychological tension that defined his celebrated collaborations with directors such as Brian De Palma, Donaggio expands his signature sound with haunting vocal passages, lush orchestration, and moments of striking dissonance. The result is a distinctive addition to the composer’s acclaimed body of work.
